About NCANI
Something Beautiful Is Growing: A Global Applied EcoArts Movement
We're cultivating a community of practitioners who create moments where Earth teaches, art flows, and healing grows. NCANI is bringing together artists, therapists, educators, and healers who work at the intersection of creative expression, environmental connection, and holistic healing. Be among the first to know when we open our doors.
Be part of the founding community of the Nature Connected Arts Network International. Our newsletter launches November 28, 2024, connecting Applied EcoArts practitioners worldwide.
Meet Our Founders
Dr. Patricia Patterson, founder of NatureConnect NY, established Applied EcoArts as an academic field of study. Her groundbreaking work spans from direct engagement with children and adults in nature-based programs to mentoring PhD students and developing innovative curricula. As the creator of Applied EcoArts as an academic discipline, her curriculum development work has fundamentally shaped how this practice is taught, studied, and implemented in educational settings worldwide.
